We’re excited to launch Intercom as one of the newest ways to get in touch with your account managers and receive technical support.

What is it?

Intercom is a new live chat feature available on the Beauhurst platform. It’s another great way to get in contact with the team if you have any questions when using the product. 

Because it’s a live chat feature, you can get a quick response without having to leave the page you’re viewing on the site. What’s more, you’ll have experienced account managers at the other end answering your queries.

What if I like the old way of reaching you?

Don’t worry! You can of course still contact your account managers in the normal way, via phone or email. This is just another way for you to reach us, should you choose to.

When should I use it?

Whenever! There’s no such thing as a silly question and we’re always happy to help. Here are some examples of questions we’ve received so far:

How do I search turnover using the advanced search feature?

Can I find fundraising for a specific company in the last year?

Is it possible to upload a list of companies to my collection?

What do you mean by ‘venture stage’?

Where can I find female founded startups?

How do I search for investors who might be interested in our series A raise?

Can you help me look for investors who regularly invest into x industry?

However, please continue to provide feedback on data quality directly via the feedback button on the company profile page… 

… and suggest a company or founder on the results page for global search. By clicking on these buttons, rather than contacting us on Intercom, your request will go straight to our data teams.

How do I use Intercom?

If you’re using the Beauhurst platform and you’re on the homepage, the advanced search page or the help page, you’ll spot a small yellow icon in the bottom right-hand corner of your screen.

Simply click on the icon and type your question to the team:

One of our account managers will receive your message and respond as soon as they can.

If no-one is immediately available, you’ll receive a follow-up email with a response to your query as soon as someone is available.
