On the 23rd March, Lystable secured $10m (£7.9m) in equity investment. Lystable is a software company that assists companies in connecting with agencies, services, and freelancers suited to their requirements: onboarding, managing, and paying workers can all be facilitated through the platform. Indeed, the payments aspect of the software is one that CEO and founder Peter Johnston intends to develop with this fresh capital.

Peter Thiel’s venture capital firm Valar Ventures is one of several investors to participate in this funding round, joined by Goldcrest CapitalKindred Capital and SciFi VC (formerly HVF Investments), each of whom supplied follow-on funding. Wilmont Ventures and Glynn Capital Management also participated, their first investments in the company.

This investment takes Lystable’s total amount raised to £19m over six fundraisings. Its customers thus far include Google and The Economist, and an impressive valuation is to be expected with the company’s most recent filings.
