Key findings
- DICE tops the ranking with £217m raised. The London-based live event ticketing platform accounts for 53% of all UK Event Tech equity raised to date — by some margin the largest single-company sector concentration we’ve measured across any vertical in this series.
- Bridebook (£32.7m, London) in wedding planning takes second, followed by OnePlan (£20.6m, London) in event venue mapping software, FIXR (£16.3m, London) in nightclub ticketing, and Evendo (£12.5m, London) in B2B event booking. The top five account for 73% of all UK Event Tech equity raised — the most concentrated top five we’ve measured in any sector.
- London dominates with 17 of the top 25, followed by the South East (four), the North West (two), and one each in Yorkshire and the Humber and the East of Scotland. The top 25 spans just five UK regions — the narrowest geographic spread of any top 25 or top 100 we’ve covered, reflecting how heavily concentrated the UK events technology cluster is in the south-east of the country.
- Venture-stage businesses lead the top 25 with 12 entries, followed by growth (10), seed (two), and established (one — Accredit Solutions). The top 25 contains no dead companies, though four dead businesses sit in the sector overall, indicating that the companies that have raised enough capital to make this list have largely survived even as broader investment has cooled.
