How frequently is data updated?

What are WZ codes?

WZ codes (developed in 2008) are the German classification system for industries and economic activities. Like UK SIC codes, they categorize businesses by their primary activities to enable systematic economic data collection and comparison.

While specific to Germany, WZ codes align with the NACE (Nomenclature of Economic Activities) classification used across the EU. The two systems are similar, though WZ codes offer an additional level of granularity.

Yes, almost all data from German profiles can be exported except for corporate structures, which the team is working to add in the future.

Beauhurst is actively developing additional German company datasets including company descriptions, websites and social media information, and fundraising data, scheduled for release later this year.

Will there be tracked companies in the German dataset?

While certain companies will receive more frequent data updates based on specific events or milestones, they will not receive a tracked status designation. This approach prioritizes maintaining high data quality across a broader company range rather than focusing on a smaller subset.
