There are no shortages of rankings and lists of promising companies. Here at Beauhurst, we track 19 of these high-growth lists, ranging from quantitative metric-based rankings to qualitative judgements based on a panel of industry experts. Whenever a company appears on one of these lists, we begin building a richly-detailed profile on the company, as we do for any other tracked company on Beauhurst. Currently, we are tracking over 5,500 companies that feature on one of these selected lists.
All this data means that we can quickly see which companies are most commonly listed. It is worth pointing out that not all lists are created equal, and in many cases, are showing very different things.
Fast Track 100 shows companies with the fastest growing sales in the last three years, similarly to Deloitte Fast 50 and the FT 1000. The Leap 100 takes an alternative approach, using experts from The Entrepreneurs Network, Seven Hills and Mishcon de Reya to come up with a list of promising companies. Combining these rankings with the Queen’s Awards for Enterprise gives an interesting combination of “factual” fast-growth with companies who are yet to turn this into demonstrable revenue growth but hold great promise.
